Spanish Paprika Chicken

This was the result of finding crap in the cupboard and fridge and making something out of it. Throw a bag of boneless, skinless chicken breasts into a pan that has been drizzled with olive oil. Now get out your spanish paprika. Don't freak out, it's not even hot. You need to dump a TON of it on to even be able to taste it. Go ahead and do that now. After that hit up your fridge for some fresh minced garlic. Put a handful of it over the chicken, I'm sayin like 1/4 cup. Chop up some green onions and throw them in there too. Do the same with a bunch of cilantro. Okay so I'm weird and I was surfin the cupboards so don't judge this part. I threw in some almonds. And green pepper strips. And chocolate. Okay not really but just be flexible and go with this one, you can't really mess up. Oh yeah I forgot, once you get everything in the pan, cook it. You probs already knew that though. You're so smart.

Chicken Salad

Mmmkay this one is a complete no-brainer. It's more of an idea than a recipe. So all you do is chop up 1 head of romaine lettuce and throw it onto your plate. Drizzle ranch dressing over the lettuce and then add some cheese. Open a can of chicken breast and shred it. Put that on top of the lettuce and then crush some tortilla chips. You can add anything else, black beans and corn are perfect. I know it looks good but take your time eating it, it won't go anywhere.

Twice-Baked Potatoes

Don't know what the deal is with the picture, you can't even see the potato. I will try and describe it so you can imagine it to be really amazing.

Bake your potatoes at 350 for about an hour. Take them out (use hot-pads! haha) and slice them in half. scoop out the middles and put 1 TBLSP. of butter into each potato skin and put them back in the oven. This time put them on a pan or you might have a mess, maybe even a oven fire. Your life might end. Just put them on a pan. Mash the middles that you scooped out with a TON of butter, whole milk (heavy whipping cream is amazing for this), pepper, and more butter. Once the skins have gotten crispy, take them out of the oven and spoon the filling into them. Garnish with whatever you want thats yummy, I did strips of ham and grated cheese. Put them back into the oven until your so hungry you just can't stand it anymore. Pull them out and just stuff the whole thing in your mouth. Actually, that would probs burn your mouth so put them in the freezer for a quick cool-down.

Buns

My family would say this is my speciality, but that title is saved for my brownies. These are my favorite thing to make for dinner. I mean, you can put almost anything in a bun, so they're flexible. Now lets see if I can actually coherently explain how to construct them.

In a mixing bowl, measure 4 TBLSP. yeast and 1 TBLSP. sugar. Pour into that 4 cups warm-hot water. Let it sit there for like 1-2 minutes. To that, add 2/3 cup sugar and 2/3 cup cooking oil. You don't really have to mix that part, I feel like it kills the yeast but you just do whatever floats your boat. To that, add 9-10 cups flour. I like to take the dough out of the mixer after 8 cups and knead the rest in.
After you knead it and let it rest for 1/2 hour, roll the dough out and use a mason jar to cut it into buns. I used to have this huge cup that I cup them out with but somebody hid it or something :( Mason jars are okay, but if you can find something a little bigger thats cool. place 12 on each greased cookie sheet and brush tops with egg wash. Sprinkle each individual bun with grated cheese and chopped green onion. You can use whatever you like, I use the green onion to irritate my little brothers, and it smells amazing when they're cooking. (The buns, not my little brothers)
Bake for 17-20 minutes or until the bottoms are golden brown. After they cool I like to slice them open with an electric knife so they're ready to eat. Be careful with the knife, it can hurt if you cut your hand. Just sayin.

Fruit Pizza

This thing is good. All you do is make sugar cookie dough and press it into a cookie sheet with sides. Pretty much all sugar cookie recipes are amazing, so don't be to concerned with that. Bake it for like 15-20 minutes or until it's slightly golden. Don't bake it too long, it'll turn hard and taste like all weird and stuff. In the mixer, whip marshmallow creme (2 normal sized jars or 1 large one) and cream cheese. Personally, I didn't like that part very much. Seriously, if you wanna make your life easier, just spread whipped cream or even cool whip over it...it'll probs taste better. After you've done that part, slice a carton of strawberries lengthwise and throw them on top. I like to do them the way I did it in the picture because I love pretty food.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

As a college student, I don't cook much.
1. It's expensive to buy all the ingredients
2. I'm hungry and want to eat. NOW.
But there is one thing that is an absolute must in order to make your college experience complete. This cookie dough. There is a reason I'm not saying "cookies" because you don't cook the dough silly. You eat it. Your roommates eat it too, especially when they have boy problems. And they have a lot of boy problems. If you only knew. But anyways, I don't have a recipe so I'll just tell you how I make it and you can try it!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
2 sticks margarine
1 cup shortening (butter is better, just saying)
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups sugar
Cream and then add:
3 eggs
1 Tbl. Vanilla
Then add:
4 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
chocolate chips (whole bag is good haha)

If you're one of those weird people that likes it in the form of a cookie, do it at 375 for 9 minutes. Even if you don't think they're done, take them out anyway. Because they are done. Trust me. But really, just eat the dough. Keep it in the fridge, it's a great way to become instantly happy after a long day of classes. Don't eat it all at once :)

Grilled Sandwiches

These yummy things were so easy! I just fried up a couple pieces of bacon in a frying pan, and set them aside. Then I cut chicken into thin slices and grilled it with some salt and pepper. Then I toasted 2 slices of bread and spread ranch dressing on one and kinder's BBQ sauce on the other. Pile the chicken on one slice and the bacon on the other. Put like 4 slices of cheese over the chicken. Really lay it on. Then stack the bread and throw it in the microwave for like 15 seconds. Stuff it! No just kidding, it's better if you eat it normally so you can enjoy it :)
